The Japan Legal Support Center provides introductions to appropriate legal systems and related institutions (such as legal helplines and public institution help desks) for those troubled by legal issues. English language guidance is available.

Telephone Consultation Service for Foreign Workers
You may call any of the following numbers in six languages to get advice on working conditions.(The number will connect you to Telephone Consultation Service for Foreign Workers.) When you call the Telephone Consultation Service for Foreign Workers, you will be charged 8.5 yen (incl. tax) per 3 minutes from landlines, or 10 yen (incl. tax) per 3 minutes from mobile phones.

Labour Standards Advice Hotline
The Labour Standards Advice Hotline is a commissioned service implemented by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. The hotline offers free advice from anywhere in the country during hours when the Prefectural Labour Bureaus and Labour Standards Inspection Offices are closed or on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Foreign language support is also available.
