We are now taking applicatison for the 2026 Tokushima Prefecture Japanese Speech Contest.
Why not give a speech in Japanese about your experiences living in Tokushima, things you have found interesting or surprising, or about your home country?
This contest is a great opportunity to express your thoughts and take a new step forward.Let’s put your daily experiences and ideas into words and share them with a wider audience.
In addition, a new division for junior and senior high school students has been established this year.We warmly welcome participation from junior and senior high school students.
We look forward to receiving your applications!
Date & Time: July 18, 2026 (Saturday), 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Venue: Awagin Hall (Tokushima Prefectural Cultural Center), 5th Floor, Small Hall
General Division Theme:
The topic is left to your discretion, but it should relate to the event’s purpose of fostering cross-cultural understanding and multiculturalism.(within 6 minutes)
Junior & Senior High School Division Theme:
Free topic (within 4 minutes)
Application Deadline: Must arrive by May 24, 2026 (Sunday)
