Starting from May 8th, 2023, COVID-19 will be downgraded to a category 5 disease, the same as seasonal influenza.
Along with the change, the costs of tests and medical treatment, which have been covered until now, will be the responsibility of the individual. Other measures towards the virus will change as well.
