The Japanese Speech Contest is for non-native speakers, and is held annually in the interest of hearing the frank opinions of Tokushima's foreign residents, creating a stage for opinion exchange and widening the sphere of international exchange and cooperation.

International Understanding Support Instructor Dispatch

　The center is recruiting foreigners resident in Tokushima as "International Understanding Support" instructors. Teachers are involved in international exchange activities such as introducing their home country's culture locally and in schools.
